Ssentongo Abdulnoor Kyamundu, former spokesperson of the Justice Forum (JEEMA) and 53 district leaders have decided to sever ties with the party due to “irreconcilable differences.”
Kyamundu said the decision follows failed attempts to resolve disputes through internal and external mechanisms, including legal recourse.
In a statement, Kyamundu cited a significant shift away from JEEMA’s core values, accusing a clique within the party’s leadership of abandoning its founding principles and treating the organization as a “personal estate for personal gain.”
The leaders expressed gratitude for the mentorship and support from some JEEMA elders who remained committed to the party’s original ideals despite resistance.
Kyamundu said a final decision on their next steps will be announced later. Hoqwever, sources told us that they are likely to join the Democratic Front (DF), the Mathias Mpuuga led political outfit which Kyamundu has been hobnobbing with.
