The ministry of Energy and Mineral Development is developing a communication strategy on nuclear energy.
This was revealed by Dennis Tusiime, the senior energy officer at the ministry, while talking to BBEG Media.
He said due to the enormous benefits of nuclear energy, the ministry has developed a strategy that will help the country in the area of digital migration, education and training as well as in industrial development.

Tusiime noted with concern that more training for nuclear specialists is still crucial and that there is inadequate institutional legal framework to cover nuclear power.
This comes at a time when many Ugandans have misconceptions about nuclear energy.
Parliament has already developed a nuclear energy bill that will soon be processed into law.
