Edward Ssebufu aka Eddie Mutwe, was today dumped at Masaka High Court by security operatives. Mutwe, who is Robert Kyagulanyi’s chief bodyguard, was abducted last week in Mukono.
Eyewitnesses said Mutwe was being aided by two people to walk and appeared to be in pain. Journalists were not allowed to get close to him.
First Son, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, later confirmed that he was being detained in a “basement” under his orders.
Mutwe is likely to be slapped witth charges which are yet to be known but sources said they could be related to the harassment of journalists in Masaka last year.
