Delegates from Lwengo endorse Among for senior NRM post 

A group of National Resistance Movement (NRM) leaders from Lwengo District has endorsed Speaker Anita Among for the position of second national vice chairperson (female) of the NRM in the upcoming internal elections.

Led by Cissy Namujju, who serves as the Woman MP for Lwengo and Chairperson of NRM in Lwengo District, the delegation pledged their full support for Among.

Speaker Anita Among expressed her readiness to take on the role of Second Vice National Female in the NRM.

“I am contesting for the position of second national vice chairperson in NRM to add value to the party,” Among stated.

She emphasized that this is the opportune moment for her to assume a leadership role within the National Executive Committee of the NRM. Her decision to run for this position is driven by inspiration and advice from various political leaders.

“Even if you are a good dancer, there comes a time when you must leave the stage,” Among remarked, signaling her readiness to transition into this new role.

Namujju affirmed that the Lwengo team is fully committed to supporting Among.
