NRM issues guidelines for district chairperson elections

The NRM Electoral Commission has released guidelines that will be followed during tomorrow’s (Friday) district/city structure elections across the country.‎

In a statement, the party said that on the same day, expressions of interest, nominations, campaigns, and elections of Workers and Entrepreneurs Leagues at the district/city level will also take place.

However, the party postponed all tomorrow’s elections in the districts of Bunyoro subregion and greater Luweero districts due to President Museveni’s visit and PDM tours, respectively.

The election process kicks off at 10.00 am when aspirants will express interest. Successfully nominated candidates will be allowed to campaign until 11.45 am. Polling starts at 12:00pm and ends at 2:00pm.
