Gen Katumba Wamala: “As long as we are in charge, no one will cause war”

Gen Edward Katumba Wamala has warned those attempting to disrupt the peace that the government remains firmly in control and will not tolerate such actions.

he book chronicles Kiyengo’s journey as a military doctor navigating Uganda’s internal conflicts and the brutal warzones of Somalia from 2009 to 2020.

Addressing the audience, Wamala said: “To my peace-loving Ugandans, as long as we are in charge of this country, no one will disrupt the peace or bring war. We have suffered, been victims, and defeated our enemies. We want you to enjoy this peace and use it effectively for economic development.”
