During one of the meetings in the negotiations for ‘federo’ between Buganda and the government in 2004, President Museveni took Katikkiro Joseph Mulwanyamuli Ssemwogerere aside.
Museveni told him that he would cancel the talks if Ssemwogerere insisted on retaining a certain member on his team, whom Museveni said had a lot of lugezigezi. In the next meeting, Katikkiro didn’t bring the member, and Museveni was happy.
