She now wants to realize her dream of being a cultural dancer and drummer on the international stage.
Speaking to Bbeg Media, Nabayaza said showcasing her skills on the international stage will give her better opportunities to excel and earn more.
“I have been training and performing cultural dances on the local stage for more than ten years and I am now looking forward to an opportunity to compete with international dancers,” she said.
She said her dream is to set up a training centre for cultural dances in the UK but at the moment she has no money.
She has so far visited Kenya, Tanzania, Sweden, India and Japan to showcase her talent.
In Uganda, dancers are among the lowest-income earners. The likes of Nabayaza need support and international exposure to realize their full potential.
