There was joy at St George High School in Kasengejje, Wakiso, after its students excelled in the 2023 UCE exams.
The best student, Yusuf Mugwa, scored aggregate 10 and hopes to do better at A- Level.
Other students, too, performed well. Katusabe Vallen Mulindwa, the headteacher, said it was a combination of hard work and commitment that led to this splendid performance.

She said the good working relationship between teachers and students contributed to this milestone.
The school scored 27 first grades and 24 second grades.
