Gen Ivan Koreta’s daughter, Yvonne Koreta, is now a sales attendant at China Town Superstore, we have established.
Yvonne was seen guiding shoppers and helping them pack their items, clad smartly in her work uniform.
We are not sure how Yvonne came to land a job in China Town, which has caused a sensation among Ugandans due to its lowly priced goods. It is based at Lugogo were the former Games store was premised.
But sources told us that after she left Power FM, she was jobless and desperate to find something to do.
We could not readily establish how much she earns at China Town. Attempts to talk to her were futile and she did not return our calls.
Like her father, Yvonne is amiable and unassuming. She occasionally lets out a hearty laugh.
Yvonne, who is in her late 30s, worked for more than 10 years as a presenter on various radio stations such as Sany FM, Next Radio, XFM and Power FM.
