“The most pressing challenge is people seeking treatment abroad which is expensive. We urge government to come up with an international insurance policy to ease such a burden,” Ssemogerere said.
The medical superintendent of the hospital Dr Julius Luyimbazi commended the working relationship between government and the facility that has enabled the smooth running of the hospital.
Hanifah Kawooya, the minister of state for Health (General Duties), acknowledged the contribution of church founded institutions in the development of the country. ‘
“I thank them for the work they do of treating people. It is good they swear an oath of confidentiality. How would it be if they were not confidential?” she wondered.
