During the NRM CEC meeting in October 2014, which stripped Amama Mbabazi of his Secretary General post, his wife, Jacqueline(then the head of Women’s League), revealed that she had not supported the lifting of the presidential term limits in 2005, a move spearheaded by her husband. Jacqueline even said that on the day the amendment was voted for, she denied Amama food.
