In 2012, President Museveni was invited to Turkey by Recep Erdogan, then Turkish Prime Minister, for a state visit. On the visit, he was accompanied by a couple of local MPs. While there, the Ugandan delegation was treated to a state dinner by the Turkey leader.
One of the Ugandan MPs overloaded his plate with food, something that did not amuse Museveni, who was watching from the high table. But what made Museveni snap was when the same MP, after demolishing the food, decided to go back for a “second round.” Museveni barked: “Gundi, tonswaza (don’t embarrass me)”. The MP smiled sheepishly and abandoned his plan.
Who was this MP?
Hint: He was from Eastern Uganda.

Hon. Cerestine Akol Opio, the then-MP for Omoro County (now deceased)
