People Brand House convenes dialogue to enhance corporate leadership, business growth

Senior managers and chief executive officers from various corporate companies yesterday convened at the multisectoral leadership dialogue at Hotel Protea in Kampala to address challenges faced by their organisations and chart a path forward.

The dialogue was organised by the People Brand House, a management consulting firm that collaborates with business leaders and the society at large to engage human capital.

The event, a platform for collaborative problem-solving, was also aimed at fostering innovative strategies to drive business success.

Hannifer Musoke, founder and managing partner of People Brand House House, emphasised the dialogue’s significance, noting its role in enhancing leadership skills and enabling companies to thrive.

“I am delighted that this dialogue coincides with PEOPLEBRAND House celebrating 13 years of existence,” Musoke said. She commended the CEOs and managers who attended the dialogue for their commitment to improving their organisations amidst challenging economic conditions.

Among the prominent leaders present was Peter Mungoma, chief executive officer of Capital FM Uganda. Mungoma shared insights into why Capital FM has excelled in its branding, attributing success to robust strategies, streamlined systems, and efficient processes.

He also emphasised the importance of fostering a supportive work environment, including initiatives like skills development programmes and comprehensive health insurance for employees, which have significantly contributed to the company’s growth.

David Wandera, managing director of Absa, said it was important to empower employees and to respect their rights.

The dialogue also featured discussions on emerging trends in corporate governance, sustainability, and digital transformation. The event attracted over 100 senior executives from sectors including finance, media, manufacturing, and technology, underscoring its growing influence in shaping regional business strategies.

The event, held annually, serves as a vital platform for knowledge-sharing and networking, equipping leaders with the tools to address complex challenges and drive sustainable growth in their respective industries.
