Minister Babalanda prepares to unseat Musoke in Budiope West in 2026

Flanked by Buyende NRM chairman, Paul Muwanga, she told the gathered crowd that “I will obey your cries.”

“I have not come to fight but to ensure service delivery such that my people of Budiope benefit from government. Those who have words can continue talking behind our back as we continue delivering services,” said Babalanda.

She donated Shs 1 million to Imeri Primary School, which will be used to buy desks.

On the issue of the Fisheries Protection Unit (PFU) roughing up fishermen at Bukungu landing site, she  promised to bring the Fisheries minister, Hellen Adoa to the landing site and listen to the people’s grievances.

In the meantime, she asked the FPU in Bukungu to stop beating up “wanainchi” during their operations.

She said the faulty transformer at Nakasedere Trading Centre in Nkondo Subcounty would be replaced before the end of this month.
