Kabaka’s speech in full
Greetings to you all. I address you from where I am resting from like the doctors advised. We had spent time without hearing from each other because we have been following the advice of doctors. My health is getting better and we hope to return home soon. We thank God for keeping us alive and Buganda for praying for us and not losing hope.
We thank the Katikkiro, ministers and people who have been running the kingdom smoothly during our absence. Whatever is going on, we have been following keenly. We thank those who have followed the norms and practices of Buganda during this time. Like we normally say, our strength is in inity. We implore our people to stay united.
