Full letter: Ssabalangira writes strong letter on Kabaka Mutebi’s health status

The Ssabalangira, Godfrey Musanje Kikulwe, has written to the chairperson of the Bataka Council, Augustine Kizito Mutumba seeking to get an update on the whereabouts and health status of Kabaka Ronald Mutebi.

Mutumba is the head of the Kkobe clan and chairs the council of the Bataka. Kikulwe has given Mutumba four days to give a detailed response on the Kabaka health status.

Kikulwe is the head of royal clan to which the Kabaka Mutebi belongs and is writing in that capacity.

The letter dated June 5, 2024 is also copied in to the Principal Press Secretary to President Museveni. The PPS received it on June 10th. It is also copied to all the clan heads and the Director General of Internal Security Organisation (ISO).

However, the letter, exclusively obtained by Bbeg Media, is not copied to Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga.

In the letter, Kikulwe is dismayed that issues regarding the health of the Kabaka have been kept secret from them. Kabaka has been out of the country since April. He is currently recuperating at Okonguarri centre in Namibia.
