FlexiPay offers discounts for Afrigo @50 Concert

This year’s highly anticipated Legends of Sound Afrigo at 50 is expected to attract thousands of people to celebrate the music of Uganda’s most enduring and popular band.

Speaking during a news conference, Aly Allibhai the CEO of Talent Africa Group, said unlike the previous two editions that happened at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel, the Saturday, August 16, performance will take place at the more spacious Millennium Grounds.

This is in recognition of Afrigo Band’s large loyal following and the achievement of being Uganda’s most iconic musical ensemble for half a century.

“We are going to Millennium Grounds because we want Ugandans to have enough space to dance and enjoy this once in a lifetime celebration,” he said.

The Afrigo at 50 concert promises to be the cultural and musical highlight of the year, with an all-star lineup of Afrigo Band legends including Moses Matovu, Rachel Magoola, Joanita Kawalya, Herbert Kiggundu, Sarah Namulondo, and Charles Busuulwa.

Adding to the excitement, legendary Congolese superstar Koffi Olomidé, the King of Ndombolo, will grace the stage as a special guest performer along with the phenomenal Abeka Band.
