Ibrahim Musana who is accused of insulting Kabaka Mutebi will be charged with computer misuse, defamation and inciting violence, police have said.
Police spokesperson Fred Enanga confirmed that Musana is in their custody.
Musana using the name Pressure 24/7 posted more than 50 videos on TikTok calling the Kabaka all kinds of names.
Police warned those who perpetuate hate speech that they will be arrested.
Musana was arrested after Buganda formally filed complaints with the police.
Mengo welcomed the development and urged people to desist from hate speech and tribalism.
